The precious metal housing with its crumb-, dust- and waterproof display frame made of brushed stainless steel combines appealing design and enormous stability.

Thanks to its outstanding features Vectron POS SteelTouch II is particularly suitable for use under unfavourable working conditions like in bakeries or on the counter of pubs and restaurants. It can be installed with a black, powder-coated aluminium stand or with a special steel stand - power supply and cables are stored in the pedestal, invisible from the outside. For a space-saving installation it can be hung on the wall.

The Vectron POS SteelTouch II is optionally available with a spacious 38.1 cm/15″ touch screen and with extra large 43.2 cm/17″ touch screen. The tilt angle of the brilliant TFT touch screen is infinitely variable.

The proven Vectron POS software allows adjusting the graphical user interface to the individual operating requirements. Display fields and buttons can be freely positioned and organised. Alternating display pages show only those input options related to the operational stage in question. As a result, the Vectron POS SteelTouch II can be operated quickly and conveniently.

Easy network installation and data backup

Vectron POS SteelTouch II is designed for use in POS networks. It is completely compatible with all other Vectron POS models and the wireless waiter call system Vectron ServiceCall. The cost-effective 10/100 MBit Ethernet standard facilitates both inter-POS system connections and those with PCs. All Vectron POS systems use the same software and can be networked as required. This is naturally ideal for the simultaneous use of mobile and stationary devices, as well as for future network expansion.

Reliably and inexpensively the Vectron POS SteelTouch secures all POS data on a standard USB stick at regular intervals, allowing it to be retrieved in a flash in an emergency.

Extensive options for back office connections

The optional communication software, Vectron Commander, allows the POS SteelTouch to be controlled from your company headquarters. New items or prices can subsequently be sent to the POS system, which can also read out sales, order or working time data, around the world if necessary. Vectron Commander also facilitates connections with merchandise management and CRM (Bonvito) programs, working time administration and special back and front office software. Efficient remote maintenance and troubleshooting via RDT
